5 Maroon completed an open-ended maths task recently which involved using the Book Creator App to keep a log of their working and to prove and explain their Mathematical thinking. The task also required use of the iPad to find out information needed to complete the task.
It would be interesting to hear what you thought of completing the task using this app and did it help your mathematical thinking in any way using the iPad?

    I thought it was a different type of activity and that it was a good way to show each other how we would work out the problem.

      I agree with Olivia it was a great way to show how we each solved the problem and using the IPads helped lots all up it was a hard but fun activity.

    I just think it made your brain work hard and it was not to hard but not to easy at the same time.

      The parts that made my brain work harder is where we had to add up and calculate using our mathematical skills to solve how much all together it would cost for a family to participate on this trip from food to transportation and entertainment which I personally thought was fun.

    I think using the iPads for activities in class is really fun. I had fun doing that math activity.
